Welcome to Cedarview Community Church, located in Newmarket, Ontario. At Cedarview we offer practical, insightful teaching from the Bible, God's Word. We sincerely hope that you will make this your church home too!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU FIRST VISIT CEDARVIEW?

To be warmly welcomed by one of our greeters

To see people enjoying being together, laughing and talking

To be in a place where you can worship, where you are comfortable and familiar: whether in a traditional or contemporary way

To see your neighbors

To find new ways to use your gifts to glorify the Lord

To "feel at home" among a growing community of Christ followers.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN DURING WORSHIP AND THE SERVICE?

We invite our children to join with us during the worship time and then they will be dismissed to children's church before teaching time, Wee Church (ages 3-5) and Kidz Church  (Grades 1-5). An usher can help you find your child's room. A nursery is also provided for infants up to 2 years of age.

DO YOU HAVE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR ADULTS AND FOR MY CHILDREN?

At 11:30 a.m., after morning service we have a variety of Adult Electives, youth classes for both middle school (Ignite) and high school students (one80uth), Nursery, Pre-School (Ages 3-5) and Elementary (Grades 1-5). You and your children will always have a place to go.

DO YOU HAVE AN EVENING SERVICE?

Yes, we have CrossTraining evening service every Sunday night at 6pm where people come together to study their way through entire books of the Bible (with complete study notes each week!), pray for needs with others, celebrate the baptism of new believers, and worship God with a more contemporary flavor of music. A great crowd gathers each week, and we finish the night by 7:15pm so families can get home early for the upcoming Monday morning rush.

We also have activities for youth and children on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:15pm:

Nursery - Infants-Crawlers (Room 103) and 1-2 year olds (Room 101)
Faithweavers - Ages 3-5 (Room 204)
Club 1,2,3 - Grades 1-3 (Room 206)

WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY DURING A TYPICAL WORSHIP SERVICE?

We have a variety of instruments that we use to glorify the Lord with song some of which include a grand piano, drums, and guitars. We sing traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs during every service and strive to make every song we sing one with meaningful lyrics to lead us in worship.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR CHURCH?

You will find some people dressed in their "Sunday best", with suits and ties, and others in jeans and tees. We care about the heart, not what you wear!

WHERE DO I PARK?

We have ample parking on the church grounds, just come a few minutes early to get a good parking space.
